Shopping at City Centre Ajman has become more convenient than ever. Visitors to the mall, owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim – the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia – will receive a warm welcome even before they step in.

 With the aim of making every visit memorable, even as the mall undergoes an AED 600 million upgrade, City Centre Ajman is going the extra mile by introducing new services that will lighten the load for families this summer and during redevelopment.

 From when they drive into the mall premises until they leave, shoppers will be treated to a five-star customer experience during the expansion, the first phase of which is almost complete.

 Signs at the access road direct motorists to a temporary car park behind the Al Ettehad Street. And they don’t need to worry about walking to the mall in the heat. Visitors can hop into one of the several golf buggies available in the car park from mid-day until closing hours daily to be driven right to the entrance. Here they will be handed complimentary wet wipes and bottles of chilled water to keep them cool in the scorching summer weather.

 There’s more! Customers can also take advantage of the complimentary valet parking introduced for their convenience during the redevelopment period. Led by a 11-strong team of drivers, the service ensures shoppers have a stress-free visit. Cars can be left for up to three hours free of charge, but if visitors want to continue their shopping spree or unwind with a movie at VOX Cinemas at the mall, they can avail extended free hours at the customer service desk. Each day, more than 200 visitors use the service, which runs from noon until midnight.  

 Having taken customer feedback for more retail and F&B options into consideration, City Centre Ajman will be doubling in size, from 29,000 to 52,000 sqm by next year.

 “The redevelopment of Ajman City Centre will double the premises’ size, bringing more shops and cafes to the emirate, in addition to the new VOX Cinemas multiplex,” said Abdulhamid Bukhashem, Senior Mall Manager for City Centre Ajman.

 “And while we expand, we want our customers to continue enjoying spending time at City Centre Ajman and creating great moments every day. To ensure they have a hassle-free and relaxing visit, we’ve introduced a complimentary valet parking service for all our loyal customers throughout the day during the redevelopment period. And if they wish to park in our temporary car park, we’ll even have them picked up from there and dropped off right at the door. They’ll be greeted with wet wipes and chilled bottles of water at the entrance, as well.”
