Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, has successfully concluded its participation in the 22nd edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Show 2020.
Organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), as the first carbon neutral 3D virtual exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa, the event focuses on water conservation, energy efficient solutions, environmental, sustainability and innovation in the region. WETEX is held annually under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance of the UAE and President of DEWA.
As a strategic sponsor and key player in the energy and utilities sector, Empower took part in the event, which featured extensive involvement of expertise and visitors from around the globe, and underscored the leading position it occupies as the world’s largest district cooling services provider. Empower showcased its strategy to the participants, that aims to address the current and future environmental issues and to help other nations to adopt more sustainable and efficient solutions in the district cooling sector.
