    Marking the international month for breast cancer awareness, Sharjah’s Economic Excellence Network (shjSEEN), launched an art exhibition, dubbed “Pinktober”, today.  The innovative event, in line with international commemorations across the world every October, aims to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment, as well as palliative care of this disease, mainly among the female community.

    On 2nd of October Bourn Hall Fertility Centre will open its space to showcase the artworks of the inspiring artist Afshan Quraishi, titled “The Comeback”, as the title suggests, Afshan’s work will depict her journey of growth through perseverance and positive energy. The show will be graciously inaugurated by Sandi Saksena, who is on the advisory board of the CEO Clubs’s Business Women's Division, and will be followed by an interactive self-healing session by the Bourn Hall Fertility Centre’s Coach & Counselor, Priyanka Bhatia.

  • “TOKUJIN YOSHIOKA x LG: S.F_SENSES OF THE FUTURE” LIGHTS UP MILANO DESIGN WEEK

    Milano Design Week, the largest and most famous event celebrating design around the world, is the setting for a collaborative, large-scale light installation by LG and Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka. Entitled TOKUJIN YOSHIOKA x LG: S.F_Senses of the Future, the impressive work seeks to illustrate humanity’s relationship with the natural world and to illuminate LG’s human-centric design philosophy. The installation is on exhibit from 4-9 April at Superstudio Più in Milan.

    With the unfolding of yet another cultural achievement in Sharjah, the first Fikra Graphic Design Biennale,1971- Design Space and Khatt Foundation proudly present “RASM: Contemporary Arabic TypoGraphic Posters, 2008-2018”. RASM is the first exhibition at 1971 – Design Space solely dedicated to graphic design. It presents posters of designers since the launch of the Khatt Foundation’s design community as well as two new commissioned works by Dubai-based designers.
