  • 20 Leading Tech Companies to dominate the French Pavilion at GITEX 2017

    Business France will be hosting 20 leading French technology companies at the 37th edition of GITEX Technology week which will be held from October 8 to 12, 2017, in Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC). The innovative and pioneering companies will be introducing their expertise in areas including 5G networks, Smart Cities, the Internet of Things, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence at the French Tech pavilion in Hall 4 (Stands C436 to D410).

    The 7th edition of the International Perishables Expo Middle East (WOP DUBAI), the GCC region’s only dedicated exhibition for fresh edible food and the 10th edition of the International Plants Expo Middle East (IPM DUBAI), the most important plant show in the Gulf region, successfully ended. WOP DUBAI recorded an 11 per cent increase in the number of visitors compared to the 2014 show, while IPM DUBAI registered a growth of 6 per cent. In addition, the total number of visitors for this year’s events stands out as the highest for the two shows. The latest editions featured 14 official country pavilions, which also reflected a 24 per cent increase in exhibitors as compared to last year.

    The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded the 2015 Nissan Sentra a “Top Safety Pick” vehicle safety rating. The Institute’s “Top Safety Pick” award recognizes passenger vehicles that excel in protecting passengers in moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint tests and also achieve a “Good” or “Acceptable” rating in the small overlap frontal test. The 2015 Sentra scored “Good” in all five of the “Top Safety Pick” categories.
