The biannual show, which will be held from October 3rd to 7th, 2017, is supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

  • 5th edition of Ramadan Night Market ups the shopping, entertainment quotient

    Dubai’s largest night souq, Ramadan Night Market, opened its doors to public among much anticipation and excitement. The 10-day event, from June 23 to July 2, at Za’abeel Hall 5, Dubai World Trade Centre, was inaugurated by H.E. Sami Al Qamzi, Director General of Dubai Department of the Economic Development,in the presence of organisers Sumansa Exhibitions and visitors waiting for the event to commence. The event features more than 300 exhibitors and is expecting a visitor footfall of over 100,000 during the 10 days. Ramadan Night Market will be open from 8pm to 2am on all 10 days. The entry fee of the event is AED 5 per person with free passage for children under 5 years.

  • 6,000 tons of waste collected during ‘Clean Up UAE’ drive in Umm Al Quwain

    The Emirates Environmental Group’s and the Department of Economic Development in Umm Al-Quwain organized a ‘Clean Up UAE’ Campaign in Umm Al-Quwain Fishing Village where 6,000 tons of waste were collected over a period of 5 days. This year’s drive was aligned according to the UAE Government’s move declaring 2017 as the ‘Year of Giving.’

    The Supreme Organising Committee (SOC) of the Arab Women Sports Tournament (AWST 2020) said that around 70 clubs from 16 Arab nations with 1,500 participants are expected at the 2020 edition, at its first meeting on April 25 (Thursday) at the Radisson Blu Sharjah hotel.
