    A delegation of 29 young leaders of the ‘Sharjah Leadership Program’ (SLP) has successfully concluded a trip which took place in San Francisco in the United States.  Organized by ‘Sharjah Tatweer Forum’ (STF), the visit comes in line with its aim to keep young leaders updated with the latest technologies and global trends related to innovation. The move also reflects the great effort placed towards improving it into a smart, integrated and sustainable city. The 10-day tour, which was held from April 17 to April 27, 2016, covered many prominent stops, including a summit on the ‘Internet of Things (IoT)’ that focused on extensive discussions on how to further develop IoT products.

    The General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) in Dubai successfully hosted lately a workshop entitled ‘Creativity and Innovation of Government Institutions’. The event is part of the ‘UAE Innovation Week’ initiative and in response to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President to mark 2015 as the ‘Year of Innovation’ and in line with the National Innovation Strategy which was launched by H.H. The sessions were held under the supervision of Lieutenant Tariq Mohammed Al Saroumi, from Dubai Police and focused on how the efforts to adopt innovation plays a significant role in the country’s core values and its quest towards government excellence, and how the employee should consider his work as a workmanship he adores, and enjoys his performance and accomplishment in order to be creative.
