Dr. Youssif Al Serkal, Assistant Undersecretary for the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s Hospitals Sector. The visit was one of the Ministry’s regular field trips being organized to check the efficiency of local health centers.

The cooperation is in line with the ongoing efforts to reinforce the country’s standing in global judicial systems. The agreement was signed by H.E. Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar Al Muhairi, Secretary General of the Supreme Legislation Committee, and by Lawyer Zayed Saeed Saif Al Shamsi, Chairman of the board of directors of the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Consultants at the SLC premises in the presence of several high-level officials and consultants.

    The General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC) has honoured the Dubai Smart Government (DSG) for its excellent support and cooperation in the implementation and operation of the Government Resource Planning System (GRPS) project and the Smart Employee service. H.E.     The General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) in Dubai successfully hosted lately a workshop entitled ‘Creativity and Innovation of Government Institutions’. The event is part of the ‘UAE Innovation Week’ initiative and in response to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President to mark 2015 as the ‘Year of Innovation’ and in line with the National Innovation Strategy which was launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The sessions were held under the supervision of Lieutenant Tariq Mohammed Al Saroumi, from Dubai Police and focused on how the efforts to adopt innovation plays a significant role in the country’s core values and its quest towards government excellence, and how the employee should consider his work as a workmanship he adores, and enjoys his performance and accomplishment in order to be creative.

    The Dubai Maritime City Authority, the government authority charged with regulating, coordinating and supervising all aspects of Dubai’s maritime sector, has lauded the operations of the Dubai Maritime Training Centre which represents a valuable addition to the initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance, safety and competitiveness of the local maritime sector while also promoting the emirate as a leading global maritime hub. The Dubai Maritime Training Centre is an initiative developed by the Dubai Maritime Creativity Lab, which was launched earlier by DMCA. The centre work revolves around supporting the government’s efforts to introduce and position Dubai as a safe and sustainable maritime hub via the implementation of comprehensive set of world-class workshops and training programs.
