  • Critical hemorrhage case treated successfully in Zulekha Hospital Sharjah

    Zulekha Hospital Sharjah has successfully treated a critical combined case after a patient was suffering from an intra-cerebral hemorrhage joined by a clot in the pulmonary artery and bilateral lower limb deep vein thrombosis (DVT) – i.e. a blood clot in both legs. 43-year-old Lopez Mattie Osena was admitted to the hospital after an overwhelming feeling of dizziness followed by right-sided chest pain associated with shortness of breath. The patient had been experiencing pain in his right leg and lower abdominal pain for three days before he was referred to Zulekha Hospital after other hospitals refrained in treating such a high-risk case.
