  • ‘Yas Bay Arena’ Wins the Sustainable Building Design of the Year at the MENA Green Building Awards 2018

    Yas Bay Arena, will be the first of its kind multipurpose venue in Abu Dhabi, currently being developed by Miral on Yas Island, has won the Sustainable Building Design of the Year award at the prestigious MENA Green Building Awards 2018. Yas Bay Arena is an integral part of Yas Bay’s waterfront destination, which is part of an upcoming 14 million square feet mixed-use area on the southern end of Yas Island.

  • Government and business leaders call for unified regional sustainability approach at 7th Arabia CSR Forum opening

    The high-level 7th Arabia CSR Forum, the latest edition of the leading annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability forum in the Arab region, officially opened today (October 19, 2016) amidst mounting calls for a unified regional approach to sustainability. Being held under the patronage of the League of Arab States (LAS) and in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the two-day forum organized by the Arabia CSR Network, a UAE-based regional think tank, is a climate-neutral event which will run until October 20, 2016.

    Epson announced that 45 of its projector display products, that are designed to meet the needs of the educational and corporate sectors, have been certified according to the global, third-party sustainability certification TCO Certified. It is administered by TCO Development that is owned by a non-profit organization based in Sweden.
