Middlesex University Dubai held its 13th Graduation Ceremony on Saturday 17 November 2018 at Jumeriah Beach Hotel’s Safinah Ballroom, with Chief Guest, H.E Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.  Across the two ceremonies 800 students were awarded degrees across a range of disciplines including film and media, business, computer engineering, IT, law, psychology, accounting and finance and HR at Bachelor’s and Master’s level. 

Bukhatir Education Advancement and Management (BEAM), in partnership with educational technology provider Promethean, today launched the world’s first Promethean Hub at the International School of Creative Science, Nad Al Sheba. The innovative educational hub was launched in a ceremony attended by Mr. Salah Bukhatir, Chairman and CEO of BEAM and Dr. John Collick, Head of International Education Strategy at Promethean as well as Ms Sonia Saleem, CEO of SET International. The new Promethean Innovation Hubs were launched in all Creative Science Schools across the UAE  to enhance the learning experience for students by advancing educational standards and creating new best practices.

Lughati Cup competition, launched by Lughati, the Sharjah-based initiative that seeks to support the ‘smart’ way of learning Arabic across Sharjah Government schools, kicked off this yesterday with the participation of 30 public schools. The competition is held as part of Lughati participation in the 37th Sharjah International Book Fair, which begun on October 31 and will proceed until November 10 at Expo Centre Sharjah.
