Nama Center for Social Development (NAMA) - in cooperation with the Best Buddies Qatar initiative - invite all citizens and residents to attend the International Youth Day celebration on Saturday, 12 - 8 - 2017 at the Drama Theater at the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara.

This global event highlights the various youth issues and their pivotal role in conflict and war prevention, as well as encouraging them to contribute effectively to building peace and security through their social integration, including access to adequate education, health care, empowerment and skill development to enable them to achieve their goals, all the way to their participation in decision-making. The event’s agenda will also address several topics through seminars, lectures and video presentations, at the forefront of which will be challenging the siege crisis and the role of Qatari youth in tackling it, in addition to discussing other issues of high importance.

Emanating from her desire to achieve human and social development in the State, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser established NAMA center in 1996, with the aim of providing a stimulating environment that contributes to investing in the potential and creativity of youth, as well as to meet their needs and aspirations as partners in civil work, while exploring the best opportunities and innovating to lead the renaissance of their communities.
