The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM), Oman’s leading arts and culture organization, has announced its participation at Arabian Travel Market 2016 (ATM), the Middle East’s leading international travel and tourism event for inbound and outbound tourism professionals from across the globe, for the second consecutive year. The event taking place from April 25 to 28, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre will offer a strategic platform for ROHM to promote itself as a premier venue for musical arts and culture as well as highlight the Sultanate’s cultural heritage and artistic engagement to a global audience. ROHM will be located at Stand ME2110, which it will share with the Oman Ministry of Tourism.

Sharjah Tatweer Forum recently organized an interactive seminar titled ‘Women and Entrepreneurship: What’s holding women back?’ in collaboration with SAP which attracted several entities that support SME and entrepreneurship projects in Sharjah like Ruwad Establishment, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheraa, and Sharjah Business Women Council. Women entrepreneurs and leaders from the business and investment sectors also attended the session. Held at the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club, the attendees outlined key strategies in promoting women’s role in entrepreneurship to boost economic growth by focusing on creativity and reinforcing small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

From 20th April 2016, the MB&F M.A.D.Gallery Dubai, the Middle East’s first mechanical art gallery, will present a series, ‘Disintegrating II’ by Swiss artist Fabian Oefner at Alserkal Avenue. The artworks on display are a second part of Oefner’s ‘Disintegrating’ series, the first which he debuted at the MB&F M.A.D.Gallery Geneva in 2013 and which consisted of 3 images.
