Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) is organizing a five-day event aimed at igniting innovation among pupils and enhancing their educational experience through an interactive learning environment.
Held at Sharjah Discovery Centre starting October 8, ‘Future Innovators’ will showcase innovations created by children from schools across the UAE.
Taking place over morning and evening sessions from 9:00am to 12:00pm and again from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, it features a wide spectrum of entertaining activities and workshops that aim to nurture inquisitiveness among pupils and discover their abilities and natural talents.
The carefully designed activities which include the Fun with Chemistry, Food Groups, Lughati – my language in Arabic – workshop, Space and Light shows, in addition to the Hologram workshop and 3D printing, will be conducted with the assistance of a team of experts to help children navigate their future interests and carry out experiments.
The event which is in line with the UAE's vision to qualify a future generation of innovators, is held in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Education, Ajman Police, Sharjah Heritage Institute, Fablab UAE, ‘Lughati’ initiative, and the Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Future Generation Society.
