The iconic rapper, and arguably one of the most notable artists from the past two decades, Eminem returned to the du Arena with an exhilarating performance in front of a sold-out audience. The full capacity crowd lost themselves in the music to a catalogue of his greatest hits, presented by du Live.
The 15-time Grammy Award winner was greeted with rapture and excitement as he delivered a stellar performance with a set list throwing it back to the 1990s and 2000s. du Arena were treated to some of Eminem’s most iconic tracks such as: ‘Like Toy Soldiers’, ‘The Real Slim Shady’, ‘The Way I am’, ‘Till I Collapse’, ‘Sing For The Moment’ and crowd favourite, ‘Lose Yourself’. Fans were also treated to renditions of Slim Shady’s recent hits from his latest album Kamikaze, the best-selling Hip-Hop album of 2018, including, ‘The Greatest’, ‘Lucky You’ and ‘Nice Guy’. Joining Eminem on the stage to perform an incredible rendition of ‘Walk On Water’ and ‘Love the Way You Lie’ was American singer and songwriter, Skylar Grey, who delighted fans with her vocal range, backed by an incredible string orchestra.
In the lead up to the performance, Dany Neville, the UAE’s award-winning DJ, radio personality and platinum selling producer, entertained the crowds with his non-stop hits. Branded as the 'Ambassador of Urban Music to the Middle East', he has previously performed at prestigious international events such as the MTV Europe Music Awards.
