Sharjah Holding PJSC — a strategic partnership between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management — is providing 450 new electronic learning tablets to underprivileged families across the emirate. The devices will be donated by Al Zahia and distributed by Sharjah Charity International to families in need. Focused on improving access to education across the emirate, the initiative will ensure that Sharjah students, who may not have suitable technology at home, join their peers in distance learning.

The global fundraiser led by TBHF will also offer food supplies to workers and families from different nationalities residing in the UAE who have been affected directly or indirectly by the spread of COVID-19.

Carrefour, operated by Majid Al Futtaim, has launched a donation campaign across its UAE stores that invites shoppers to provide boxes of essential Ramadan items to families in need during the holy month. In partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent charity, the initiative encourages customers to purchase boxes worth AED 50 or AED 100 online or in Carrefour stores across the UAE.
