In an interview with CNN’s Richard Quest, H.E. Helal Al Marri, the Director General of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), discussed his plans for welcoming back international visitors to the region.
Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) today confirmed that the city has been certified as a safe destination by Bureau Veritas, the global leader in testing, inspection and certification services, as it completes its ‘Safeguard Assurance’ program. It is first city in the world to receive both the Bureau Veritas Safeguard Assurance Label and the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) Safe Travels Stamp which recognize the heightened safety standards, training and hygiene protocols in place across the Emirate.
Ras Al Khaimah Energy Efficiency and Renewables Strategy 2040 has completed its second year of implementation in 2019. Last week Ras Al Khaimah Municipality released the second edition of the annual report for the strategy. Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee for the Covid-19 Pandemic, in collaboration with the Department of Health and Abu Dhabi Police, have announced that entry to Abu Dhabi emirate is permitted for all those who have received a negative Covid-19 test result within the previous 48 hours. Results must be shown via the Alhosn App, or a text message from any hospital, or screening centre in the UAE that is affiliated with the National Screening Programme.
