His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council (DSC) has endorsed the replacement of two members of the board at the Victory Team with immediate effect.

In his decree issued during the week, HH Sheikh Hamdan welcomed Saeed Khalifa Al Marri and Ali Khalifa Ali Al Qaisi Al Falasi as the new members on the board of directors. The decree noted that Al Marri and Al Falasi will take the place of outgoing members Khalifa Al Qama Al Muhairi and Nasser Mohammed Al Shaali.

HE Huraiz Al Mur Mohammed Bin Huraiz, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Victory Team welcomed the inclusion of the two new members by Sheikh Hamdan and confided that both will be valuable additions to the Dubai-based outfit that operates from its headquarters in Jebel Ali.

“At the onset I would like to place on record my deep appreciation and thanks to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan for the personal interest he has been always showing towards the activities leading to the success of Victory Team,” stated Huraiz.

“At the same time, we want to commend the hard work and dedication shown by our outgoing members Khalifa Al Qama Al Muhairi and Nasser Mohammed Al Shaali during their tenure. Over the years, they were known for their contributions in making Victory Team a truly global brand with their ideas and inputs,” Huraiz said.

“We also welcome our two new members Saeed Khalifa Al Marri and Ali Khalifa Ali Al Qaisi Al Falasi with the hope that their inputs and ideas will propel Victory Team towards even higher heights in the world of watersports. Over the years, the members representing Victory Team have blazed a path and I am confident the inclusion of both these new members will take our achievements even higher,” he added.

With nearly three decades of competitive experience on the global stage, Victory Team is today recognized as one of the most successful watersports entity in the world. The board of directors have already approved the participation of Victory Team drivers and riders in five different competitions this season. The men in blue will embark on a second stint in the world-renowned Super Boat International in Key West, Florida and follow this up with their participation in the UIM-sanctioned F1, F2, F4 and Aquabike championships this year.

“We are headed into perhaps one of the busiest periods for our team within the next week or two with the opening round of the 2019 UIM-ABP European Aquabike Championships (May 3-5) followed by the first round of the UIM F1H2O in Portimao, Portugal (May 17-19). The entire crew along with our drivers and riders are fully aware of the high standard of excellence adopted at Victory Team, and we trust them all to return with honours for yet another season,” Huraiz noted.
