The Dubai Courts has launched today (Tuesday, April 14, 2015) its annual report for 2014 during a press conference held at its headquarters in Dubai in the presence of a group of top officials and members of the judicial community and the local justice. The report shows a marked improvement in performance indicators across all of the Courts’ sections, highlighting the developments and transformations experienced over the last year. It confirms the commitment of the Dubai Courts to continue the progress and excellence in serving customers and increasing the community’s confidence in the emirate’s judicial system.

Dubai Smart Government has become the first UAE Government body to launch an official company page in Arabic on LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network on the internet with more than 347 million members across the world.

Dubai Courts continues to reap pioneering achievements, recently ranking ninth in the ‘Customer Satisfaction’ category under ‘Dubai Government Excellence Program 2015’ to climb 11 places up from the previous year. This progress is a result of the significant improvements attained by Dubai Courts, specifically in raising the level of its customer satisfaction to 92.3 per cent to confirm its commitment to provide facilities and the best legal and advisory services designed to enhance the well-being of customers and the community. This is in response to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to please all members of society.

Session discusses ways to strengthen cooperation in aquaculture & protection of fisheries

The Ministry of Environment and Water recently hosted a Japanese delegation comprising representative from the Embassy of Japan in the UAE,Japan International Cooperation Agency JICA, and Kinki University at the Ministry’s headquarters in Dubai. The meeting was held to strengthen the cooperation between both parties in the areas of aquaculture and the protection of fisheries. The session was headed by Salah Al Rayssi, Director of Fisheries, Ministry of Environment and Water, along with officials from the Ministry’s Marine Research Department.

The Ministry of Environment and Water has revealed its participation at this 17th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) 2015, which will be held from April 21 to April 23, 2015 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event, organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), is being held with the theme ‘At the forefront of sustainability’ under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and President of DEWA.
