In a tribute to the founding father of the UAE, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Government of Jordan today renamed the AED550 million (US$150 million) Quweira Solar Power Plant, funded by Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), as Sheikh Zayed Solar Power Complex.

Director of Dubai Customs, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih revealed they have thwarted 922 smuggling attempts including 355 drug contrabands (38.5%) from January to the end of September 2018.

Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sharjah Police that will give inmates serving sentences in penal and correctional institutions around the emirate the opportunity to attend a series of educational workshops and inspirational lectures.
