Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced that it will install 270,000 new smart meters across Dubai under phase 3 of its ‘Smart Applications via Smart Grid and Meters’ smart initiative, which was launched in support of the Smart Dubai initiative to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world.

The Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI) yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA), the federal body responsible for coordinating the national competitiveness drives and statistics, at the UN World Data Forum.

A delegation led by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently participated in the 2nd UAE-France Economic Forum in Paris which highlighted the strengthening economic ties between the UAE and France and explored prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the areas of smart cities, renewable energy and investment.

A delegation from Dubai Department of Finance (DOF) visited Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Rental Disputes Center (RDC) to view the services provided by both entities during their participation in ‘A Week Without Service Centres’ initiative between 21st – 25th October, 2018.

Dubai Land Department (DLD) participated in ‘A Week without Service Centres’ initiative which will be held from 21-25 October, under the theme ‘A week Without Waiting... Without Parking Traffic...Without Papers,’ to enhance its contribution to this vital initiative launched by Dubai Department of Finance for the second consecutive year, with participation from all official entities and departments in the Emirate.
