Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, is celebrating International Museums Day by offering visitors free entry to Etihad Museum and Dubai Museum. Visitors are invited to enjoy the Etihad Museum at no cost on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th May, with the Dubai Museum also opening its doors free of charge on Saturday 19th May.

For one month every year, five highly competitive friends hit the ground running in a no-holds-barred game of tag they’ve been playing since the first grade—risking their necks, their jobs and their relationships to take each other down with the battle cry: “You’re It!”  

Etihad Museum, an entity managed by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, has launched a ‘Teachers Pack’ as part of the educational programmes to celebrate International Museums Day. This year, the international occasion falls on 18th May and will take place under the theme ‘Hyperconnected museums: New approaches, new publics’.

Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, represented by Dubai Public Library, announced the start of ‘Zayed Used Books Fair’ at Etihad Mall. The fair is part of a series of events organised by the Authority in line with the values of ‘Year of Zayed’ initiative, to provide financial support to local charities and comes in partnership with Noor Dubai charity association. The exhibition also supports Dubai Public Library objectives to promote the habit of reading across the community.
