Culminating its third season, The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) hosts the Middle East premiere of Noura this May, a production directed by newly appointed NYUAD Associate Arts Professor Joanna Settle.  This groundbreaking production of Heather Raffo’s thought-provoking play received broad acclaim in a its recent world premiere produced by Washington DC’s Shakespeare Theater Company, in association with Octopus Theatricals.

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Shamsa Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan and held by NYU Abu Dhabi in partnership with Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF), the winning submission of the sixth edition of The Christo and Jeanne-Claude Award has been announced by the annual Selection Committee of The Christo and Jeanne-Claude Award.

The Bosnia and the Balkans pavilion is the latest addition to Global Village, the region’s first and largest multi-cultural festival park. It provides an important window into the heritage and culture of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is similar in many respects to the cultures of people in the Arab world. It has more than 28 exhibitors offering traditional products, handcrafts and artifacts.

Ayyam Gallery Dubai (11 Alserkal Avenue) is pleased to announce Hybrids, a solo exhibition by Rashid Al Khalifa. Hybrids will present a selection of wall-mounted installations from six different series from 2010 to 2017.
