Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate's dedicated entity for culture, arts, heritage, and literature, launched a photo exhibition in August under the theme ‘Mosques of the World’ in cooperation with the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) and Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU).

Budding artists of all ages have been developing their creative skills at an empowering, inclusive, and above all fun, Unified Art Workshop at Abu Dhabi’s Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts, heritage and literature, recently held a panel discussion on women in literature in the UAE. The event was held at Etihad Museum in Dubai and was attended by authors Salha Ghabish and Shaikha Al-Mutairi, as well as an audience of intellectuals, media professionals, and all those interested in local culture.

The Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Publishers Weekly (PW), a weekly news magazine covering the latest feature stories on the international publishing industry. The MoU enables  SBA to bring out a monthly print edition and a weekly digital edition of the magazine for the publishing industry in Arabic.
