Al Mouj Muscat, Oman’s leading Integrated Tourism Complex, joined the country in celebrating the 48th Omani National Day with a wide range of week-long activities and special performances. November 18th, a key date in the Omani calendar, is celebrated all around the country with utmost joy, traditional festivities and the very best colourful decorations.

The celebrations were in full swing at Al Mouj Muscat throughout the destination including The Walk, Al Mouj Golf, Al Mouj Marina and Marsa Plaza, each hosting its own celebrations and activities.

Al Mouj Muscat celebrated the occasion with traditional practices that encompass the spirit of Oman National Day, which include traditional Omani hospitality, involves distribution of dates and coffee along with stilt walkers in the colour of the Omani flag.

The Walk also host the National Treasure Campaign in the mall, where five different Omani treasures illustrators were placed across the mall, Promenade and Marsa Plaza in a cut-out form. There were also instant photography booths, where adults and children can put their heads through cut-outs and receive a fun, National Day themed photo framed on the spot.

The National Day Celebrations were concluded with a heritage night held at Marsa Plaza where traditional Omani costumes were showcased to the audience.
