Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s travel program, was voted the “Best Hotel Loyalty Program in the Middle East” during the 2019 Business Traveller Middle East Awards. This recognition comes close on the heels of the program winning four Freddie Awards just months after the introduction of the new brand name.

Built on the belief that travel enriches the world and connects people, Marriott Bonvoy offers an extraordinary portfolio of global brands in 130 countries and territories providing endless inspiration for members to keep traveling with passion and purpose. Under one set of unified benefits, Marriott Bonvoy simplifies rewards and offers members a holistic travel experience encompassing much more than a hotel stay.

Commenting on the recognition, Neal Jones Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Middle East and Africa, Marriott International said: “This recognition truly highlights the traction that our travel program has gained and is a testament to the fact that our members continue to seek new ways to make travel more enriching.  We are excited to see the program resonate with travellers in the region and are committed to creating unmatched travel experiences for our guests around the world.”

Since the introduction of unified loyalty benefits under the former Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and SPG, members have been able to seamlessly book stays and earn and redeem points across the entire portfolio and achieve Elite status faster with new Elite tiers. Members now earn on average 20 percent more points per dollar spent.
