The Cypriot coastal city of Pafos has been selected as one of this season’s must visit destinations by UNESCO and National Geographic. The listing as one of the top World Heritage Sites in Europe, comes off the back of record visitor numbers from the UAE this summer.

As winter is arriving in the UAE, City Sightseeing Sharjah (CSS), launched by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) in collaboration with City Sightseeing Worldwide, has announced new timings of its tours during the winter season. Starting from October till May, the CSS will organise daily tours from 9am to 7pm. 

Every year on October 22nd, a unique portal to travel back in time opens in Kyoto. Known as Jidai Matsuri, or Festival of Ages, the event is a spectacular procession showcasing the eight different eras of Japan’s history from the Meiji Restoration (around 1868) to Enryaku period (782-806) in reverse chronological order.
