Written by

We are creatures of habit. Every day, most of us will stick to our morning routines like clockwork: wake up, make coffee, check social media feeds, go to work, etc. Of course, not all habits are created equal, as we form bad habits along with the good. But what if just a few simple steps each day could encourage us to start on the right foot? Research suggests it takes 21 days to establish a new habit through repeat behaviour. With our busy schedules and endless tasks, it is important that our habits are positively impacting our productivity, health, and overall happiness. Written by

Words by Medy Navani, Founder & Creative Director of Design Haus Medy

One of those "things" was that the blend of business and pleasure can, in fact, prove invaluable in moving towards success. Sounds counterintuitive? Allow me to elaborate. I have heard people coin the practice of mixing business with pleasure as one of the "seven deadly sins", and while there is no doubt that based on our conventional wisdom, blurring the lines can bring with it hidden dangers, there are other ways to frame it.

The Psychology of Success

Written by

Words by Ebraheem Al Samadi, CEO & Founder of Forever Rose

When  it  comes  to  the  psychology  of  success,  the  first  thing  you  need  to  ask  yourself  is  why  you  want  to  be successful.  By  success,  I refer to  achieving something  in  your  life  that  you  currently aspire towards.  What is emotionally  driving  you  towards  it?  You  might  say  you  want  a  "pay  rise",  or  "more free time"  however  these  are objectives, as opposed to the fundamental reason why. The "why" is what you need to consider, it is your emotional driver  behind your objectives. For example, the true  reason  for  wanting  that  pay  rise  may be  because  you  have a young family and wish to build a beautiful home for them to create unforgettable childhood memories in, or being able to spend more precious time with your family whom you may rarely see due to work.  It’s  these  emotion-based reasons that  direct  and  push  us  forwards and always deserve reflection to meet our aspirations.

And despite the prolific influence of social media on modern society, an extensive fact base has been established by marketing researchers that reveals that the vast majority of sharing of information about brands is actually offline, rather than online.
