Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, has been officially certified a Great Place to Work in the Gulf by the Great Place to Work Institute for the first time. The award underscores the value Schneider Electric places on personal development, happiness, respect and creating a best-in-class company culture.
Recognition from the Great Place to Work Institute, which has surveyed more than 100 million employees around the world since it was created in 1992, reflects Schneider Electric’s ongoing commitment and dedication to providing the highest levels of care. This is combined with a laser-sharp focus on employee wellbeing, safety, digital skills, productivity, happiness and empowerment, as well as personal and professional growth.
Schneider Electric received the award on the final day of its first hybrid Innovation Summit Middle East & Africa 2022 (MEA), taking place from 18-19 May at the Coca-Cola Arena Dubai and online to chart a path towards a sustainable future. It is the first time it has received the award for its operations in the Gulf, demonstrating how the region is becoming an increasingly attractive global destination to live and work in.
“We are proud to receive this award as it recognizes all that we have done to establish an inclusive culture and develop a diverse team of highly-skilled professionals that drives the company forward,” said Natalja Kissina, Gulf HR VP of Schneider Electric. “This award is a recognition of our steadfast commitment to create an agile, respectful, inclusive and diverse workforce built around the values of trust, collaboration and creativity. It is wonderful to receive this award at the Innovation Summit Middle East & Africa 2022. We firmly believe that the future is sustainable and digital. This recognition gives us a new opportunity to demonstrate why Schneider Electric is a great place to work for everyone who cares about sustainability and energy efficiency.”
“I am ecstatic to welcome Schneider Electric into the growing and prestigious Great Place to Work family,” said Ibrahim Mougharbel – Managing Director of Great Place to Work Middle East – UAE, Kuwait, Omar and Qatar. “The core of any successful company is its employees. Schneider Electric is a Great Place to Work not only because of the award they have received, but because of how they value their employees. It values their employees by providing them with an honest and ethical work environment that they can give their highest performance in. Schneider Electric has always been on top of its game when it comes to innovation. However, this award is proof that innovation is not only what they aim for; they aim at being a Great Place to Work focusing more on their employees and they succeeded in doing so.”
Earlier this year, Schneider Electric was named by LinkedIn as one of the top companies to work for in the UAE, alongside the likes of Amazon, HSBC, L'Oréal, Mubadala and Majid Al Futtaim.
Now in its fifth iteration, the Innovation Summit Middle East & Africa 2022 is Schneider Electric’s flagship customer event. More than 5,000 people attended the hybrid conference in Dubai, which provided an immersive physical and digital platform for anyone, anywhere to tune in to more than 50 panel discussions, speeches and presentations from business and policy leaders.
