Within the international research collaboration strategy, the United Arab Emirates University established effective research collaboration with major research and academic institutions to enhance the university reputation and global ranking. The international partners are selected based on their areas of strength.  The Indian academic and research institutions are among the UAE University international partners.

H.E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh - Cultural Advisor to H.H. the President of the UAE - Chancellor of the UAE University honored the winners of the eighth Chancellor’s Innovation Award including faculty members, students, and employees for all different categories of the award. 370 faculty members, researchers, students, and employees participated and submitted 146 applications in this round. The students represented 52% of the participants, while faculty and staff represented 27% and 21%, respectively. The percentage of employees has increased as compared to the previous round, which was 16%.

Reach British School, part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), celebrated the academic achievement of their student Sama Elmansoury, who has been recognised with the High Achiever Pearson Learners Award 2022, for her outstanding results in the Pearson Edexcel GCSE and International GCSE May/June 2022 Exam Series.

During the launch ceremony, the United Arab Emirates University announced the launch of a series of activities during Innovation Month 2023, "UAE Innovates", on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in the presence of H. E. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh - Cultural Advisor to H. H. the President of the UAE, Chancellor of the UAE University - and several the UAEU leaders, faculty members and students.

The first students of the Class of 2027 received a warm welcome at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a Qatar Foundation partner university. The 31 students were admitted to CMU-Q through the Early Decision round of admission. The students represent 18 schools and 10 nations, and more than half of them are Qatari nationals.

International Schools Partnership (ISP), a global group of private international schools, is on a mission to provide its pupils with inspiring learning experiences through its International Learning Opportunities (ILOS) programme. Running from October 2022 through to July 2023, each ILOS activity is aimed at ensuring children experience learning and life skills outside the classroom, while connecting with other ISP students across the world.

Dr. Dalal Matar Al Shamsi, Associate Professor in the Department of Geology at the United Arab Emirates University and Director of the National Water and Energy Center, presented an online symposium entitled: “The distribution of 238U, 235U, 226Ra and 222Rn in groundwater reservoirs in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and their environmental impact,” on Tuesday.

Against the backdrop of a sharp shortage of skilled aviation professionals globally, Emirates Aviation University (EAU), the academic wing of the Emirates Group, is ushering 474 highly qualified graduates into the workforce at its 32nd graduation ceremony.
