The UAE has officially embarked on its much anticipated lunar mission, making it the first-ever Arab country to reach this milestone. The Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Centre’s (MBRSC’s) lunar rover, Rashid, has launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, through ispace's Hakuto-R lander as part of its program HAKUTO-R MISSION 1, with the journey to the moon estimated to take about four months.

To achieve the research and educational strategy of the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), which aims to build partnerships and enhances the university international reputation, Prof. Ahmed Ali Murad - Associate Provost for Research paid a visit to Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University in Al-Khobar, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to discuss possible future research and educational cooperation.

The College of Business and Economics has organized an exhibition for four days for students’ graduation projects with the participation of 180 students. The students presented more than 60 projects addressing some ideas and initiatives that they worked on during their internship period.  Students presented their ideas, and experiences in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Madi, Dean of the College, Dr. Rashed Alzahmi, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, and a number of faculty members, visitors from different organizations, and other university students.

The Advisory Board of the College of Science at UAEU discussed ways to modernize and develop the academic programs and outcomes of the college, obtain academic accreditation, and enhance partnerships with national institutions to provide job and training opportunities for graduates.
