The Expo Centre Sharjah participated in the "Global CEO Summit 2022," organized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) to improve international cooperation, forecast the future of the exhibition and conference sector, and reassess its working mechanisms, in Hamburg, Germany from June 22 to 24.

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), representing the Sharjah Excellence Award, proceeds on its tour throughout the GCC countries to motivate and invite Gulf private sector companies to participate, nominate, and get introduced to the award’s new cycle and its two categories: "Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award" and "Sharjah Gulf Localization Award."

The 3rd edition of the Jewels of Emirates Show, organized by Expo Center Sharjah, with the support of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), is set to kick off on Thursday, June 30. The exhibition, which runs until July 3, is regarded as a distinct platform to support the gold and jewelry industry, with an outstanding presence of more than 20 designers and around 100 exhibitors from the leading gold and jewelry brands.

In conjunction with the Day of the Seafarer, the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has launched ‘Salmeen,’ an initiative that aims to provide care to provide seafarers and those working in the maritime sector with comfort and safety. The initiative aims to cater to the seafarers needs, as they are one of the most important pillars of the maritime industry. ‘Salmeen’ contributes to enhancing the quality of life for seafarers and overcoming the challenges they face due to the pandemic and travel restrictions.
