The second edition of Digitalks, Middle East’s first digital-focus conference series will kick off on the 13th of November 2018 at the Westin Mina Seyahi Dubai. The one-day digital conference will feature a robust line-up of visionary keynotes, interactive discussions and workshops, success stories and valuable networking with peers from leading companies.

Celebrating the spirit of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), an initiative which is the brainchild of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, GymNation has aligned with the annual event by committing to open its doors for free to the community and non-members, starting today till November 24.

Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts, history, and literature, in collaboration with the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC), announced the three winners of the first Islamic Creative Economy (ICE) Competition on 30th October during the Global Islamic Economy Summit (GIES) that took place in Dubai.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, motivated thousands present at the opening ceremony of the 37th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2018) with an emotional message of heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to recognise the towering contributions of his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council of Family Affairs (SCFA), and presented her the ‘Sharjah Coronet’ for dedicated services to society.

To continue its commitment in providing excellence in maritime arbitration and facilitating meaningful dialogues with key industry stakeholders, the Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre (EMAC) took part in the UAE Maritime Week, starting with the Dubai Maritime Summit and closing with a presentation by GCC representatives on ‘The evolution of maritime regulations and arbitration in the GCC’.
