Speaking on the occasion of the UAE's 51st National Day, the minister said: "The National Day is an opportunity to demonstrate our loyalty to the leadership and our belonging to the nation. The UAE will continue to look to the future and give its people the opportunity to realize their potential, build on the nation's achievements, strengthen the foundations of the union, and maintain national gains based on an integrated government strategy designed to shape the future of the country's vital sectors in line with the UAE Centennial Plan 2071.
Al Owais extended his warmest greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates as well as Crown Princes and UAE citizens on occasion.
"The 51st National Day this year is not like any previous occasions. It is all the more special as it comes at a time when the UAE has just approved a new vision, "We The UAE 2030," during the annual government meetings to improve the lives of citizens and advance the country's development."
"The new vision sets a roadmap for the UAE and provides a national action plan for the next decade and the next 50 years. It also sets the stage for a new phase of sustainable growth and prosperity," the minister added.
Al Owais said: "The UAE's celebrations of the National Day reflect the unity and national cohesion of the UAE people and our leadership. It is a day to commemorate the achievements made by the UAE in all fields, especially in the parliamentary sector, and to recall the country's development journey over the past 50 years. Thanks to the constructive collaboration between the government and the Federal National Council, we have maintained the interests of the UAE and its people, resulting in remarkable milestones. We will continue to be guided by the wise directives and visions of our leadership, which has always been keen to provide all resources that would enable Emirati citizens to achieve excellence in all fields and levels."
