The Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) concluded a training workshop for its members recently, in cooperation with Mind Resilience Training (MRT). The workshop's overarching goal was to train participants how to transform their thoughts and emotional well-being in order to better overcome personal and professional challenges and boost their confidence in various disciplines.

The workshop, titled 'Mind Resilience Training: Cultivating Mental Well-being & Emotional Resilience', came part of the DBWC’s efforts to cultivate the health and well-being of working women in the business community. It also aimed at training working women on how to invest in their personal and professional life and overcome challenges following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The session was led by Sami Khoury, Founder of Mind Resilience Training (MRT), Mindset Coach and Mindfulness Teacher, and Tamara Durzi, Partner and Program Designer. More than 40 DBWC members participated in the workshop and were introduced to sustainable tools and practices for cultivating mental well-being and increasing personal energy, productivity, learning, and adaptability. The course taught participants how to use their brain as their primary source of energy, how to boost their personal energy, how to cope with changing variables, and how to develop constructive thought patterns, motivations, and behaviors.

Nadine Halabi, Business Development Manager, DBWC, said "The training workshop focused on strengthening personal skills to address professional challenges.  Mental well-being is the foundation for a successful career and a key component of enhancing entrepreneurs' competitiveness and ability to handle challenges in the professional environment.”

Halabi commended DBWC's Mind Resilience Training (MRT) partners for their tremendous efforts and cooperation in training and educating its members on the importance of mental resilience, fostering their mental well-being and thereby leading to the enhancement of their professional achievements and leadership abilities. She also underlined DBWC's commitment to providing all essential support to its members and ensuring a brighter future for their businesses.

On the other hand, Sami Khoury, Founder of Mind Resilience Training (MRT) said that there are a lot of people struggling with their mental and emotional well-being due to adjusting to a post-pandemic world, in addition to the uncertainty and volatility they face in their careers. We believe that a lot of these stresses and anxieties can be overcome through simple yet powerful mindset techniques that can help anyone feel more balanced, relaxed, and empowered to improve their personal and professional lives no matter what surprises come their way.

Established in 2002, under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the DBWC is the UAE’s leading platform for the personal and professional development of businesswomen in the Emirate of Dubai. Since its inception, the Council has dedicated its efforts to assisting Dubai's business and professional women in their pursuit of success in the business world. It is critical in investing in these entrepreneurs' economic potential, developing and promoting their skills, and providing the quality and professional training required for them to thrive and work in a competitive and challenging labor market.
