Hala Badri, Director General of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), has visited The Ocean's Gems exhibition by Emirati photographer Ali Bin Thalith, Secretary General of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award, that is being held at Khawla Art Gallery in Dubai Design District from 5 to 28 January. During her tour, accompanied by Dr Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, CEO of the Arts and Literature Sector at Dubai Culture, Badri was briefed on the photographic collection within the exhibition that embodies Ali Bin Thalith's creativity, known for his amazing artistic shots documenting the beauty of the local environment.

Documented in ten dynamic five-minute episodes, “Bridges of Love” features projects in both the UAE and the KSA. The series starts with the cultural and natural revival of Al Ula governorate in the KSA and concludes with the Mohamed Bin Rashid al Maktoum solar park in Dubai.

As part of its 19th edition held under the theme ‘Crafting the Emirates State of Mind: Creation, Innovation and Joy’, Abu Dhabi Festival presented last Friday 30 December the world premiere virtual concert of its commission and production of the epic Symphony of Three: Peace, Love, Tolerance, by visionary Emirati composer and Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominee for “Best New/Emerging Composer”, Ihab Darwish.

As part of the exclusive commissions and joint productions of its 19th edition, held under the theme "Crafting the Emirates State of Mind: Creation, Innovation and Joy", the Abu Dhabi Festival is announcing the broadcast of the world premiere of  Symphony of Three: Peace, Love, Tolerance by visionary Emirati composer Ihab Darwish, in collaboration with Emmy Award-winning composer John Debney and Academy Award-winning composer David Shire. The show will be streamed on 30 December at 6pm (GST) via Abu Dhabi Festival's YouTube channel.
