Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, granted the House of Wisdom (HoW) a huge collection of 646 volumes in French covering a wide array of disciplines ranging from history, geography, arts, literature and philosophy, among others. Ali Al Hajjar dedicates a song to Sharjah during Sharjah Munshid's first round of finals
The 14th edition of the popular Sharjah Munshid competition kicked off its first round of finals yesterday (Thursday) evening with renowned Egyptian singer and actor Ali Al Hajjar. He performed a song dedicated to Sharjah, written by poets Emirati Mohammed Al Buraiki and Egyptian Salim Al Shahbani. Al Hajjar mesmerised the audience with renditions from his extensive musical journey, which included classics and his well-known theme songs for the Arabic drama series.
