Set to transport guests into the nostalgic glamour, decadence and magic of a 70s Arabic Disco, Alaya in DIFC is celebrating the new year with its first Disco Arabesquo New Year’s Eve party, inviting guests to join in the memorable festivities as they ring in 2023 in style.

For one night only, Alaya is winding the clocks back to ring in the new year for a funky retro Arabic disco party inspired by the beloved 70’s era. Bringing his iconic legacy into Alaya’s party scene, Amsterdam-based Egyptian DJ Moataz Rageb, also known as Disco Arabesquo, is set to deliver his eclectic repertoire of vintage Arab music with a groovy twist for a musical offering unlike any other.

Unmissable entertainment awaits, with the upbeat DJ setting the soundtrack throughout the evening alongside the rhythmic and melodic sounds of the Middle East, courtesy of the traditional Darbouka and roaming belly dancers set to scintillate and ignite the evening. Alaya’s New Year’s celebration gets ready to take revellers on a sensory journey with an unrivalled selection of the most delightful Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, bespoke cocktails, and bottle service served in an alluring setting.

Once the clock strikes midnight, it’s only the beginning, as the most exclusive afterparty awaits at the newly opened LY-LA. Partygoers will be transported to an underground world of lavish splendour at the intimate Arabesque-inspired club to dance the night away.

Let the countdown begin and embrace the new year at Alaya surrounded by glitter balls, neon lights and vintage glam and bring back the golden age of Arab music.
